I had reflux, and a hiatal hernia, this was determined in 1996...I finally broke down fall 2001, and had fundo and repair surgery...toward the end before my surgery I got a terrible cough after I ate...I would end up vomiting...I did not actually have nausea ...although some of the medications I took caused me to feel nausea...after I had fundo surgery I felt nauseated...went back for my post op, surgeon said give it a couple more weeks and if it did not go away to have some tests done..I ended up having tests for a bad gallbladder and Bingo...had a diseased gallbladder...I am now 7 weeks post surgery from that and am doing great, no more nausea...I am wondering if you have your gallbladder..and if so maybe have it checked out...a simple ultrasound locates gall stones...and mine was fine, but the hida scan showed my gallbladder was malfunctioning...Worth mentioning to the Doc.
