I have not posted in many months but wanted your opinions. This may be long so hang in there with me. Tests: 4 ct scans, 1 mrcp, 1 mri, 3 endoscopies, 1 colonscopy, 1 pelvic ultrasound, upper and lower gi with barium. surgery to remove colon and stomach polpys. Tons of blood work for aids, arthritis, lupus, diabetes, mysthenia gravis, MS, CF, you name it. Fat fecal, fecal blood stool, enzyme levels, liver scans, ALL NORMAL. I had gallbladder out in June 1999 and it's been downhill since then. Anyway, it started in December 1999 with severe pain in stomach radiating to shoulders. Couldn't swallow or get food down, felt like someone choking me. On and off until Sep 2000. Diagnosed with stomach polyps, gerd, removed polyps and put on nexium, prilosec, you name it. Meds didn't help (nexium, prilosec, you name it). Now it's January 2001 lost 50 pounds. Cannot tolerate any fatty, fried, greasy, carbonated, you name it. Just on oatmeal, cream of wheat. Been tested for hiatal hernia, h. pylori, all negative. Put on celexa, pancreatic enzymes. Now passing floating clay colored stools and lots of diahhrea. Diagnosed with severe IBS, given drugs for that. No help. Move to 2002, am still having trouble eating and am still having nausea, pain under both ribs and where they curve in the middle. Diahhrea comes and goes. All pain is really above navel and still in shoulder blades. Sometimes wakes me up. Doctors have given up on me. All tests are normal. Please, can anybody help me? I've been through thousands of dollars of tests now, spent a ton on drugs that haven't helped and still nothing. I AM NOT A NUT!! (Oh, one thing, when they were testing for asthma they said blow into this peak flow meter. I sucked my stomach really big and blew very hard. Something caught under my left rib and I couldn't let my air out. Finally after a few minutes, I could, but for weeks later I had a gristle or lump near that under left rib area. I was really sore too and short of breath and it hurt to breathe. Could I have damaged some internal organ maybe pancreas, spleen or something? Would it have shown up on tests tho? I'm just lost.
