Hi Rachel,
Would my guess be correct if I said that you are having far less constipation at the same time as your gas pains seem to be clearing up?
If you have any resumption in constipation, try to limit your intake of bread, pasta, cookies, crackers, bagels, pretzels, white rice etc, and the constipation should clear up in a day or so. If this works for you, adding insoluble fiber in the form of whole UNGROUND grains will prevent the hard rocks of stool from forming and blocking the colon. Of course, you have to cook them in a rice steamer with boullion, spices or fruit chunks etc.. for about an hour or more or you won't like them.
