Hi Thistle:), Thanks for your advice and encouraging words..without the prevacid...the burning is really bad..My doctor seems to think that what I am feeling is not actual regurgitation but spasms that feel like there is liquid in my esophageas. I still feel like it is liquid coming up because that is the symptom I had before the fundo and it feels the same way. I could never do a 24 hour probe because I would gag and vomit(because of my spasms) but my 16 barrium swallows all showed marked reflux. My 8 endoscopes showed irritation,my 4 motiliy studies were all normal except for the last one which showed my LES pressure to be 10. Meds failed and never controlled the horrible regurgitation. The kinds of food never seemed to be a problem because it happened even when I didnt eat ...even with water. I just feel so wrong inside and I am so scared that it will never get better. I thought I would wake up and I would be eating fine...I had to stasy in the hospital for 2 weeks because I wasnt going to the bathroom..my tummy just didnt want to work! So this entire thing has been a nightmare..I just want to wake up:( Thank u again for your reply...anymore input would help:) hopeless
