I don't exactly know what it does to stop it - I have read theories on the Panic Disorder Institute about how xanax is a cck antagonist and that cck mediates bile flow. For that matter I have also read that cck inhibits transcient relaxation of the les. Who knows, maybe it stops the pylorus from opening inappropriately and letting the bile into the stomach, I don't know. Maybe it just slows down bile flow period All I know is that it worked for me three times b4 and I pray it will again...
