It caused my period to come about 5 days early, and it was "very" heavy. I had to take naproxen sodium pills to try and diminish the amount of blood I lost. I quit taking the motilium to see if that was what it was, and since quiting the motilium everything is back to normal. I had never had a problem with my period before the motilium. I also read where there is an increased chance of breast cancer with the motilium, if you have a certain genetic disposition to it. How is someone supposed to know if they have that gene, is beyond me. You may not have any problems with motilium and you should give it a try. I have always been sensitive with regards to anything that might effect my hormones. Hell, I couldn't even eat soy beans without spoting.
