I was diagnosed 5 months ago with acid reflux, I was put on a pill called protonix, it worked for awhile but has since stopped helping me! I'm positive I have a hiatal hernia after reading so many things about them. I would like to hear some symptoms that any of you have with your hiatal hernia. One I have is soreness in the ribs under my breast's? it is like gas gets stuck there or something, It is hard to explain, I suffer from panic attacks also so when I get heartburn, chest pain or soreness in my ribs I right away think that I'm having a heart attack or dying or something, I'm a wreck with these symptoms that I'm having and I just want them to go away! So does anyone with a hiatal Hernia suffer these same symptoms and what other symptoms to you all have?? Thans so much for helping me out here! Tiffany
