hello tiffany i have GERD and suffer with about the same syptoms as yourself...i get severe burning in my throat and chest this can also give you very bad pains in your chest....i mean if i didn't know any better sometimes i would also think that i was having a heart attack as well......i have suffered panic attacks on and of for years...and having panic attacks dont help acid reflux or someone with a hernia...i think that the symptons are something the same for both.......because that is what i was first diagnosed with..i used to be on 40mg of lozac a day until i became allergic to them,and well i've been of them for about 10 months and have noticed that my panic attacks have totaly gone....i also get pain under my ribs..do you ever get a burning taste in your mouth or a sore throat..if you want to talk in private to me, my e-mail address is david.hanna@ntlworld.com i know its nice to talk to other people who suffer the same things especialy panic attacks....im an expert at those lol....but beleive me your not having any heart attacks its just acid burning and a ot of junk in your food pipe causing the pain in your cheast..i've had my heart tested so many times..its always fine..but its nice to be reassured by the doc......well hope this helps ahd get in touch if you would like..pearl
