Shane, I have been following the board, and was surprised that your Dr gave you the go ahead to eat so quickly. Maybe you should back up and let things heal with liquids and soft..very soft foods. I was wondering how long the tough guy thing would last before you got off pain meds and was not feeling "perfect". We all have to be patient after surgery, take it slow, healing comes with time.
