I've just found this website and have been reading for 2 hours. 2 weeks from tomorrow I'm having my surgery. I was excited til I started reading about all the gas problems people have, the burning and pain in the stomach even after...I'm really getting scared! I'm 31 and have been on medication for hiatal hernia and gerd for 13 years. This is why they want to try and fix it. I don't have symptoms every day but attacks can leave me on the bathroom floor for a couple hours at a time. I don't want my kids to have to deal with that anymore. Can I hear about post-op experiences? I want to be really prepared for what is to come. I know everyone is different but let me hear some stories, okay? Thanks everyone! It's so comforting seeing that I'm not the only one that feels these things!
