Nancy, it all sounds familiar....I do have asthma, and I know what you mean about the sinus infections...althought the "numb feeling I'm talking about...only seems to happen when my larynx is really swollen, I do have chronic posterior laryngitis...secondary to GERD...it was particularly bad yesterday, the lump felt larger than a golf ball and when that happens I get this "numb" feeling...it is very strange...I would appreciate you posting the links to some sights you think would be helpful..post them here, perhaps they will help someone else too...Thanks, MMN
