I understand the nature of reflux means, back flow but..... even water and pills are coming back up into the mouth and upper throat..... I live on only toast, crackers and milk now and all that comes back up too..... heck even on an empty stomach the stomach fluids come flying back up to the throat and into the mouth.... was anyone else this bad? I am not kidding when I say, everything literally flies back up day and night, liquids and solids... and even on huge amounts of Prevacid it still all tastes like burning puke acid... has anyone ever recovered from this level of 'constant internal puking' without surgery?? I can't remember what it feels like to have even an hour of peace in the body free from this burning, gagging, nauseating regurgitation and since it went from occasional to constant and chronic I think the only hope of getting it to stop would be surgical.
