A word on Neurological Symptoms

I have read a lot of posts complaining of dizzyness, or shortness of breath, or tingling/numbness or all three. Well, in talking with numerous doctors I can't help but wonder if these people have a central nervous system problem?

It's a big step to say 'I have reflux and I have these other symptoms therefore the other symptoms are coming from the reflux'. Any neurologist will tell you that reflux is just another common central nervous system failure, so having all of them may just be pieces to a bigger puzzle.

I just had a comprehensive breathing test done and found out everything is normal except for my diaphragm is very weak (25% of normal - diaphragm pressure test - they re-did the test EIGHT times). My Pulmonologist said that unless I was stabbed recently or was in a car accident, my problems are all most likely neurological and he referred me.

Anyone with thoughts on this? Gastro, Pulmo both agree I have reflux, but it is a mere symptom of a neurological disorder.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this??
