Roxie stay on the previcid for now ,it won't hurt you. Your lower back pain has nothing to due with reflux. However if the pain is in the middle back you could be having some refered pain and that could be from gerd.The medication will take acouple of weeks toheal your esophagus. In the mean time eat small meals and take it easy.
