I can't believe I am sitting up at this time reading this message board !!!! My condition has worsened quite a bit again...going to a new doc on Thursday...2 mos have passed since my visit to Columbia....I probably should've just had the damn tests done in NYC and gotten them over with !!! Maybe I would have some answers by now...hopefully this new guy will concur and schedule the tests { ph and Manometry } ASAP...this condition is making me old before my time...maybe this most recent flare up is due to the fact that Spring is in full bloom and my sinuses are going nuts too....who knows, all I know is that I'm back to having non stop heart burn despite the Prevacid and Gaviscon and yes even water makes me feel gross....It doesn't matter what I eat or drink.....with in a 1/2 for the Gaviscon....which worries me because of the aluminum content...like what does that do to your brain ????? I guess I sound like a nut don't I...well, sleep deprevation due to GERD will cause that I'm sure...I'm going to try to lay down and at least catch a few winks before it's time to get up and go to work :(.....thanks for listening...MMN
