I am wondering if there is anyone like me or if I am the only one that this acid reflux has happened so quickly and out of the blue to? I was very healthy,not even a cavity until I turned 30 and than boom--my life changed. It started with a lump feeling in my throat with throat clearing,food sticking and horseness..I was treated for allergies and asthma but it progressed to esophagas spasms,regurgitation and finally burning which was my last symptom. The regurgitation was never related to the types of food I ate or how much I are---it happened with water or even on an empty tummy,in fact It always feels liquidy in the middle of my chest. Forget that I was very active physically,just bending down or walking to fast makes this reflux so much worse. I have had all the tests and tried all the medicines so I know I have reflux and the meds always stop working although they NEVER EVER stop the regurgitation!!!!!!!! I just cant understand how this can happen so quickly and for no apparent reason robbing me of being able to be a mommy to my kids and a fun-loving wife anymore...What gives? Anyone like me out there? It has been 2 really long sad years:( Karen
