From out of the blue for me, too. The weird thing is, I had never heard of GERD until the Nexium commercials. I may have read an article about fundo surgery in Time or Newsweek several months ago before I had symptom 1. Didn't pay much attention to it. It's a shock to realize so many people are suffering with this. Is it an epidemic or what?
A question for you: since you've been suffering for two years, are you considering surgery?
